How To Connect WPForms and Sendinblue?
With the free version plugin, you won’t be able to complete the integration. You need to purchase the premium version of WPForms to complete the integration. Once you have purchased the WPForms premium plugin, you can download it from the WPForms account. Go to the downloads section, and you will see the premium plugin files.
After downloading the plugin files, go to your WordPress dashboard ยป add new plugins section.
Upload the WPForms zip file you have downloaded.
You need to activate the plugin after installing it.
For receiving automatic updates and access to the add-ons, you need to verify your license key. From the WPForms downloads section, you can see the license key.
You can verify the license key from the WPForms settings page.
If you have entered your license key accurately, you will see your current subscription there.
Now, you are ready to move forward. The next thing you need to do is, install and activate the Sendinblue add-on. After that, go to the WPForms settings page. Under the integrations tab, you will see the Sendinblue add-on.
Once you have clicked on that Sendinblue integration, you can add a new account from there.
It will ask for your Sendinblue API key and a nickname.
Open a new tab. Log in to your Sendinblue account. If you don’t have a Sendinblue account, create an account. It is free. Once you have logged in to your Sendinblue account, go to the SMTP & API section.
There, you will see your available API key.
If you do not have a key, create a new one. Now, copy the API key from there and paste it on the WPForms settings page.
Now, give a nickname to the integration. This is for identifying the account if you are planning to link multiple Sendinblue accounts.
Click on the Connect to Sendinblue button, and you are good to go.
Now, you can add the Sendinblue integration to your forms. You can create a new form or edit an existing form for adding the integration. Once you have opened the WFForms builder, check the Marketing tab.
You can add a new Sendinblue connection from there. Enter a nickname for your connection.
You can see all the linked Sendinblue accounts in a new tab.
Select the Sendinblue account you wish to connect. Then, choose the action to perform as Subscribe.
You need to select email, new email field and assign it to your Sendinblue list. If you have multiple marketing lists, you can see them all in the dropdown.
If your form has more fields, you can also assign the fields with your Sendinblue account.
Once you have done with the form customization, you can update the form, embed it on pages. From now on, when someone submits a form entry, his email address will be added to our Sendinblue list!
